94%Guru Match

Scored on the dog, the host, the home and the household. Illustrative.

Every dog is different. Every home is different. That matters.

Booking care for a dog usually comes down to three things — and none of them tell you whether your dog will settle.

What most searches match on

  • Distance
  • Price
  • Availability

What actually decides how the stay goes

  • Temperament
  • The household
  • Resident pets
  • Time at home
  • The garden
  • Experience with dogs like yours

How Dogz works

You get a shortlist, not a search results page.

Dogz recommends homes that suit your dog, instead of leaving you to scroll through everyone with a free week.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your dog

Breed, age, temperament, routine, medication, how they are around other dogs and children. The things a good host would want to know anyway.

  2. 02

    Discover compatible homes

Dogz Guru reads your dog against the host, the home and the household — then shows you the homes that genuinely fit, with the reasons why.

  3. 03

    Meet, book and stay

Meet the host first. Then book. Your dog stays in a home, on a routine they recognise, with one person responsible for them.

Guru Match

A match you can actually read.

Every signal behind the score is something you would have asked about anyway — and anything that needs a second look is shown just as plainly.

Sarah’s Home

Villa · walled garden

94%Match

Strong fit on space, supervision and size.

Milo needs room, company through the day and someone comfortable with a large dog. Sarah’s home covers all three.

  • Secure garden, fully walled
  • Someone home most of the day
  • Experienced with large dogs
  • One guest dog at a time
  • Medication accepted

A home instead of a kennel

A home while you’re away.

Same sofa habits. Same evening walk. Someone there when they wake up. Home boarding keeps a dog inside the rhythm they already know, at a scale where they are noticed.

A real home
Rooms, sofas, a garden and a household going about its day — the setting your dog already understands.
One-to-one attention
Hosts take a small number of dogs, and many take just one guest at a time.
The routine they know
Feeding times, walks, bedtime and quirks carried across from your home to theirs.
Matched, not just available
A host chosen because they suit your dog — not because they were the nearest one free.
Someone accountable
One person responsible for your dog for the whole stay, who you have already met.

Trust

We’re building Dogz around trust from day one.

Dogz should let you understand exactly who you are leaving your dog with, and where. These are the layers we are building in.

  • Identity

Confirming that a host is who they say they are, before any dog is placed with them.

  • The home

Recording what the home actually is — garden, fencing, floors, stairs, pool, how it is secured.

  • Experience

What a host has genuinely handled: sizes, breeds, puppies, seniors, medication, anxiety.

  • Reviews from real stays

Feedback tied to completed bookings, so it reflects stays that actually happened.

  • Safety information

Household details owners ask about anyway — resident pets, children, capacity, time left alone.

  • Licensing where required

Where a market regulates boarding, showing that a host meets the local requirement.

None of these checks are running yet. Dogz.guru is open but new, and nothing on a host profile has been verified by us — what you read there is what a host wrote about themselves. When these checks do run, every host profile will state plainly what has been verified and what has not.

Become a Dogz Guru

A great home can become a Dogz home.

The best hosts do not simply have space. They have the right environment for the right dogs — a particular kind of home, a particular kind of day. Dogz is built to send them those dogs, rather than every enquiry going.

You define

  • Your home and its garden
  • Who else is in the household
  • The dogs you are right for
  • How many guests at once
  • Your experience and comfort level
  • When you are actually available

Create an account as a dog owner, as a host, or as both. Building a Dog Passport or a home profile is free, and nothing is paid through Dogz.
